Ideogrammic compound:

辵 (착, “to walk, to move”) — semantic element, indicating movement.

兔 (토, “rabbit, hare”) — semantic + phonetic element, suggesting quickness and sound.

Together depict “a rabbit running swiftly on a path”, hence “to escape, to flee.” Later extended metaphorically to ease, leisure, freedom.
