Formally known as the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, is a religious movement founded in South Korea in 1954 by Sun Myung Moon. It is a Christian-based movement with its own theological principles outlined in the book The Divine Principle. The church is known for its mass weddings and for its founder, Sun Myung Moon, who members consider a messiah.
