잃어버리다

To not have something anymore because it has slipped from one's grasp or one has failed to notice it.

To be separated from someone with whom one has been, and thus come to be apart from him/her.

To not have a meaning or peculiarity anymore.

To lose something one has not gotten sufficient use out of.
